We utilize a tax-exempt, debt structure arranged with university-affiliated foundations or an independent not-for-profit organization, such as a 501(c)(3) entity. This can serve client institutions by securing tax-exempt debt and acting as the owner/operator of your on-campus housing. However, we are not limited to financing projects by this method alone. We can also utilize taxable financing and private equity methods should the specifics of a given project dictate such an approach.
